Most children grow up dreaming….and most little girls grow up dreaming of their wedding.
Meaghan + Cory’s wedding was a dream come true. Every detail was absolutely beautiful and Meaghan looked like a princess in her gown. Her long black hair was curled perfectly and every detail complimented her elegant style
Her bridesmaids wore a soft neutral with accessories and shoes personalized for each. And the most special part of the wedding was Meaghan + Cory’s love, a love that’s strengthened since they first met 7 years ago.
When I first saw Cory last Saturday I asked him how he was feeling, and his response was, “I’ve been preparing for this moment for a long time.” 🙂 And when he saw her, I saw the sincerity in his eyes and the smile on his face.
Their rings are so beautiful and I love that Meaghan chose two Gold bands to sit one on each side of her ring.
All the girls swooned over Meaghan’s dress and the way it hung on her Etsy hanger.
Her garter has to be the prettiest I’ve seen. And it matched the belt she wore around the waste of her gown.
Wouldn’t you agree she belongs in Vogue Weddings?
And what a beautiful bridal party.
The guys are looking SHARP.
The wedding began…
….and the wedding ended with a kiss.
The moments following a wedding are so special. I love to observe and to see how things unfold, like when Cory feels the ring on his finger for the first time.
We spent some time after the wedding enjoying the daylight and photographing them for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Williams.
LOVE
Meaghan says one of the reasons she bought her gown is because she loved how she felt when she was spinning in it. 🙂
Their reception was held at the Historic Calcasieu Marine Bank in Lake Charles. I believe this is one of the most beautiful venues I’ve seen.
Avery/Reid Designs are responsible for the stunning floral designs placed throughout the venue.
And every detail was consistent and reflected the whimsical theme Meaghan was going for.
What a wonderful way to display and later keep all the guests best wishes.
When Meaghan and Cory first arrived, they were announced as they walked onto the balcony.
First dance as husband and wife…
She was so happy to share the moment with her father as well.
Catering by Whisk & Ladle definitely reflected the exquisite detailing displayed throughout the rest of the wedding.
There is something EXTREMELY cool about Meaghan’s Cake by A Piece of Cake adjacent to a bank vault. 🙂
Cory’s cake was So beautiful…and from what I heard, he literally DUG into it. 😉
This was the first time I’ve seen an I O U during a Money Dance… 😉
Meaghan’s brother Scott stole the dance floor with his moves.
Congratulations you two! 🙂
Meaghan + Cory,
Thank you so much for hiring me as your wedding photographer. I hope you are off having a wonderful time in Europe. It’s funny to think that just a few months ago we were shooting your engagements, trying to replicate a European feel as you were looking forward to your honeymoon. And now, it’s here! You’re happily married, and enjoying your first time together as husband and wife. I thoroughly enjoyed being there to document your day and I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together.
